Thanks to Saeka Tyr from slack, suggesting perhaps to try turning the audio off. I've been unable to test but will update this if I find another fight so large.

I tried to participate in the FD- fight this evening, but the client was literally unplayable. I did submit a bug report but perhaps I'm missing something obvious. The minute I get on grid, my FPS dipped to 0.5-0.2 FPS. System resources are bare...

3. Crystals not showing damage any more - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
When I mouse over the guns on my HUD, I used to have a X.XX damaged notification for crystals, this seems to be gone. HAs something turned istelf off by mistake? edit: Works on succubus with small lasers and not my omen navy with heavy pulse II.

OK...so I was being stupid. Spotted 'world sounds' volume was down to nil; didn't realise that included sound effects (what with there beinga sounds effects bar too :P ) Anyway, crank that up and job done.
